Laser tattoo removal pricing explained
The pricing for laser removal for PMU (Permanent Makeup) and body art tattoos at uninked. depends on the type and size of tattoo that we're trying to remove.
The main difference on how much it will cost is whether you are coming in for brow removal (PMU), or body art tattoo removal. These two types of tattoos use different pigments, are deposited at different depths into the skin, and are of varying sizes. The result is that brow laser removal usually takes far fewer sessions compared to body art tattoos.
Usually, we'd expect full removal of PMU (brows) to take between 1-3 laser removal sessions, at intervals of 6-8 weeks, before the PMU artist can apply new work.
Body art, on the other hand, can take anywhere from 4-16 sessions for full removal, depending on the pigments used, and how they respond to the laser removal process. This may be less if you're opting for a body art tattoo blastover, where we're only aiming to fade the original work to a certain degree.
Each PMU (brows) laser tattoo removal session at uninked. costs £80, plus an initial mandatory consultation at £20.
Each body art laser tattoo removal session can vary in cost, depending on the size of the tattoo we're removing. As a guide, allow between £60 per session for small tattoos (around 1 inch by 1 inch) to £120 per session for very large tattoos.
